About

We underwrite every asset as if we were going to own it.

PowerGen Asset Exchange sources power generation assets, measures them against a published standard, and structures the transaction and the capital around them. We work where grid access is constrained and the schedule is the binding problem: Canada, United States, Europe and the Caribbean.

Position

How we are different from a broker

A broker introduces you to a machine and will not tell you what they make on it. We publish our position and our compensation on every transaction, and we do the evidence work before the asset is listed rather than after you ask for it.

On some transactions we take a position alongside an investor partner, which means we are exposed to being wrong about condition. That is why the inspection happens first, and why we pay for it.

The partners
