Most of what we transact is placed against a named requirement rather than advertised, because the units worth having rarely reach a listing. Tell us the capacity and the date and we will tell you what exists.

Classes

What we work in.

Six classes, each the right answer to a different problem. The class follows from your duty cycle and your date, which is why we ask for both before recommending anything.

  • Aeroderivative gas turbines

    Fast start, high cycling tolerance and the shortest route to power of any utility-grade turbine class. Typically 20–60 MW per unit. The default choice for bridge power and behind-the-fence campuses where the load profile moves.

  • Industrial frame gas turbines

    The highest absolute output and the best heat rate per dollar of fuel, which makes frames the right answer for sustained baseload and combined cycle. They ask more of your permitting basis and your schedule. We will tell you when they are the wrong machine.

  • Reciprocating gensets

    Modular capacity that scales in small increments, tolerates part load, and draws on a different supply chain to the turbine queue. Diesel, natural gas and dual fuel, from standby duty to prime power.

  • Steam turbines

    Bottoming cycles, combined cycle conversions and industrial CHP. Often the highest-value item recovered from a retiring plant, and the most frequently overlooked.

  • Complete power plants

    Whole facilities available for relocation or in-place acquisition, with balance of plant intact. Buying the block rather than the machine removes the longest lead items from your schedule.

  • Balance of plant

    Transformers, switchgear, HRSGs, controls, cooling and fuel systems. The turbine is rarely what delays a project. These are.

What publication means

A record appears here once it can be defended.

A published record has a named owner or custodian, a documentation package we have seen, and a verification tier that states exactly which work was done and by whom. The tier is the difference between a listing and a record.

    Ownership and asset identity confirmed against title documents and the nameplate.

  2. V2

    Records verified

    Run history, maintenance records and OEM logbooks reviewed by the independent engineer engaged for the asset.

  3. V3

    Inspected

    Physical inspection completed by a named third-party engineer.

  4. V4

    Inspected in detail

    Borescope and, where possible, a test run, performed by a qualified specialist engaged for the asset.

Sourcing against a live requirement runs ahead of publication, and it reaches machines that never reach a public page at all. If you have a capacity and a date, that is the faster route.
